Position Location: MIMRA Laboratory, Delap, Majuro Atoll
Duration: Two-year contract with a 6-month probationary period, with the possibility of extension subject to performance evaluation.
Purpose: MIMRA is seeking three qualified individuals with laboratory experience to join our Chemistry, Microbiology, and Radiation units.
Position Responsibilities/Duties:
- Conduct routine tests and analyses of marine and seafood samples
- Maintain quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures
- Analyze and report test results
- Work for extended periods while sitting or standing
Education/Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards
- Prior laboratory experience
- Proficiency in both English and Marshallese
